Hemm żewġ sinjali jixxiebħu għal CHEQUE BOOK. L-ewwel sinjal għandu tlett partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ L u dawn is-swaba’ jiltaqgħu fin-nofs u jimxu lejn il-ġnub biex jiffurmaw rettanglu fl-arja. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal imqassar għal FLUS. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ T u s-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jogħrku lil xulxin. (iii) Fl-aħħar isir is-sinjal għal KTIEB. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5, jitqiegħdu pala ma’ pala. Imbagħad jinfetħu min-naħa ta’ fuq qisu qed jinfetaħ ktieb. It-tieni sinjal għandu tlett partijiet ukoll. L-ewwel żewġ partijiet bħal dawk tal-ewwel sinjal. It-tielet parti ssir bl-idejn forma ta’ L kkurvata. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jiltaqgħu fin-nofs bil-pala tħares ’l-isfel. Imbagħad jogħlew, jitbiegħdu u jduru lura biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il fuq.
There are two similar signs for CHEQUE BOOK. The first sign has three parts. (i) First, the hands take the shape of L and the L fingers meet in the middle then move towards the sides to form a rectangle in the air. (ii) Then the shortened sign for MONEY is made. One hand takes the shape of T and the thumb and index finger rub each other. (iii) Finally, the sign for BOOK is made. The hands take the shape of 5 and are placed palm against palm. Then they open on the upper side as though a book is being opened. The second sign also has three parts. The first two parts are like those of the first sign. The third part is made with the hands in the shape of curved L. The thumb and index fingers meet in the middle with palm facing downwards. They then move up and apart and turn over so that the palms face upwards.
